The grapes are hand-harvested and manually selected before fermentation. The winemaking process includes gravity-fed fermentation lasting 20–25 days without added yeasts. The wine is aged for 12 months in 10HL barrels followed by an additional year of bottle maturation.

This wine has an alcohol content of 14.5%. It features deep purple coloration, notable acidity, and aromas characteristic of the Pugnitello varietal. Its production method highlights regional authenticity and traditional winemaking practices.
